And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. It is holy to the Lord.įor the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.Īnd all the tithe of the land, whetherof the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s. If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. ![]() The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because the Lord was with him and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison whatever they did there, it was his doing. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession and I will be their God.” And God said to Abraham: “As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.”īut the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. ![]() And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. I will make you exceedingly fruitful and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham for I have made you a father of many nations. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. ![]() When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God walk before Me and be blameless. Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.” And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. Now the land was not able to support them, that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together.Īnd the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are-northward, southward, eastward, and westward for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. Lot also, who went with Abram, had flocks and herds and tents.
